ContractOnce payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the address you provide in your order form. This acceptance of your order automatically creates a legally binding contract between us.
PriceThe prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website. You may be required to pay delivery charges at the checkout stage based on the delivery service you choose. For information regarding delivery charges to countries outside the European Union, please email us with the delivery address and the items you wish to order and we will provide a quote.
TaxesAll purchases within the UK are liable to VAT at the current rate and the prices on our site are VAT inclusive. Overseas orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country. We have no control over additional customs charges and as such, these charges are to be paid you as the purchaser.
Product detailsWe make every effort to ensure colours and finishes appear as realistic as possible. However, due to digital reproduction constraints on different web browsers and because of the variations in natural materials such as wood or leather, we cannot guarantee exact colour or finishes. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate but variations may occur. Measurements are approximate and may vary according to the size of the item.
DeliveryWe can deliver to anywhere in the UK but if you live in a postcode area beginning IV, PA, AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KY, KA, ML, HS, ZE, PH, TD, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Scilly or the Channel Islands please contact our team for a delivery price. Delivery is FREE to all other postcodes in the UK if you spend over £150.00. We can deliver all products in the UK and Ireland, but may not be able to deliver some of the products to other countries in the European Union. If you require delivery outside the UK please contact us for a quote. We will be pleased to help with any delivery queries you may have. Whilst we do try to accommodate deliveries on a day which is convenient for you, our delivery teams are not in every post code area every day so your delivery will be arranged according to which day our vehicle is in your area. Please contact us should you require further details or have any specific delivery needs. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday when you will be allocated an AM or PM delivery slot. In the event that you are not present or available to receive your goods during the agreed time slot, or cancel the delivery once the goods are out for delivery, a delivery charge will be made to deliver your order to you at another time. It is your responsibility to check that your order can be delivered to your property. We recommend that you measure the entrance, the route by which the item will enter the property and the space that it will occupy. In the event that your order cannot be delivered due to access problems then we will charge for storage and re-delivery as necessary. In the event that goods have been made to order and they cannot be delivered for this reason we cannot offer a refund so do please check your measurements carefully. We will deliver your order to the delivery address given at the time you place your order. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted dependent on the lead time of the product. You will be notified when the goods come into stock for goods that require ordering and on dispatch for stock items. You will only become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you and full payment has also been made and received. Delivery dates offered are non-binding estimates only, based upon the best available information concerning manufacturers lead times and transportation schedules. Estimated delivery dates will be considered as accepted by the buyer unless disagreement is notified to the Company in writing. Special delivery conditions requested by the buyer should be given in writing at the time of order placement and will be considered and if necessary conditions and charges may change accordingly.
CancellationWe are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase but if you should wish to cancel your order, you may do so up to 3 days from the date you placed the order, provided that the items have not been dispatched by then or are not being specially made to your specification. To cancel your order you must notify by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting your name and order reference. If the goods have been dispatched then please follow our returns & exchange policy as detailed below. We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if: • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered. • We do not deliver to your area. • One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Returns & Exchange PolicyIf you are not happy with your goods when you receive them and wish to return or exchange them you can do so within 7 (seven) days from receipt. Please note that if your items are being made to order we cannot accept cancellations or returns, unless such item(s) are damaged or faulty. This is in accordance with clause 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and clause 28(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The products sold on this website are posted directly from the manufacturers in Italy; any returns will need to be sent back to the manufacturers in order to be refunded. The cost of the return postage will be at the expense of the purchaser. The product you return must be in new, unused condition with all the original packaging and product tags still attached. New and unused means that there are no marks on the item or signs of any wear. We will not accept any item with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser. The cost of returning any unwanted products will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please ensure you keep all the original packaging and carefully repackage the item for transit as it is also the buyer’s responsibility to insure the goods for transit. If required we can arrange to collect the items from you and can provide a quote upon request. Upon inspection of the goods returned we will arrange a refund minus any collection and delivery charges if applicable. Our sales team will be happy to clarify the arrangements if you have any queries. This policy does not apply to faulty or damaged goods which are described above.
Returning Faulty or Damaged ItemsPlease open and check your order within 3 (three) days of receiving it and notify us within this timescale if goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit. Any claims regarding damaged/defective items must be made in writing within 3 days of receipt to email@example.com. We will replace or repair the component part or the whole item as appropriate. In the unlikely event that the whole item is deemed faulty we will arrange to have the item collected and will arrange for a replacement to be sent, subject to inspection at our warehouse. Goods must be ready to collect in their original packaging. If you do not notify us of a fault or damage within the first 3 days we will be unable to offer repair or replacement. PLEASE ONLY PLACE YOUR ORDER IF YOU ARE SURE THAT THE ITEM AND FINISH IS RIGHT FOR YOUR NEEDS AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE ORDER AFTER THE ITEM HAS BEEN ENTERED INTO PRODUCTION OR BECAUSE IT IS DIFFERENT TO WHAT YOU EXPECTED, UNLESS OF COURSE, WE HAVE NOT SUPPLIED THE CORRECT ITEM OR SPECIFICATION AS PER THE ORDER CONFIRMATION. ALSO, IT IS YOUR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ACCESS INTO YOUR PROPERTY AS DELIVERY WILL BE ACTIONED ON THE BASIS THAT YOU HAVE CHECKED THE DIMENSIONS OF THE ITEM YOU WISH TO ORDER AND THAT IT FITS THROUGH ALL DOORWAYS, STAIRWELLS AND WITHIN THE AREA OF INTENDED USE.
Withdrawn/DiscontinuedIn the event that a product is withdrawn, discontinued or changed by the manufacturer then we will offer an alternative item or a full refund after informing the customer involved.
TrademarksAll reproduction items pictured on our website are high quality reproductions based upon original classic designs and comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988. All items offered for sale comply with European copyright laws however customers should note that some goods should not be exported to the USA as they may not meet US copyright laws. All trademarks referenced are trademarks of their respective owners. For customers who are reselling please note that the furniture should not be described as "originals" due to license and copyright protection.
